About the editors

Prof. Yingquan Peng, “Qian Jiang scholar” distinguished professor of Zhejiang province, China Jiliang University. He earned a B.S. in physics from Lanzhou University (China) in 1985. In the year 1986, he pass the selection examination organized by Ministry of Education of China, and was selected to study master and Ph.D degree in Berlin Germany. He earned a Diplom Ingineer in electric & electronics, and a Ph. D. in experimental physics from Hulmboldt University Berlin (Germany) in 1992.
From Sept. 1992 to Aug. 2015 he was at the School of Physical Science and Technology, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. He commenced appointments as a vice professor, a professor, doctoral supervisor, and leader of the discipline of microelectronics and solid-state electronics, successively. He worked on optical pumped thin film organic lasers as a visiting scholar in Prof. Salbeck group, University Kassel, Germany. In 2015 he commenced his present appointment as a professorand leader of the discipline of microelectronics and solid-state electronics in the College of Optics and Electronic Technology, China Jiliang University, Hangzhou, China.
In the year 2004, he won the Award of Science Advancement among Universities in Gansu Province, China, sponsored by Ministry of Education, Gansu Province for research in “OLED Physics and materials”. In the year 2011, he won the honorary of “Scientific and Technological Leading Talents in Gansu Province”
His research interests are focused on technologies of advanced photo detectors and light-emitting devices, physics and simulation of organic semiconductor devices, as well as advanced automatic measurement technic. He has published more than 100 papers on reputational journals like Applied Physics Letters, Advanced Optical Materials, Carbon, IEEE, Photonic Technology Letters, Nanoscale, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, npj Flexible Electronics, and a book titled “Experiments in modern physics (Publishing House of Lanzhou University)”.

Prof. Xinyong Dong was born in Shandong, China, in 1975. He received PhD degrees in Optics from Nankai University, China, in 2002. He worked as a research assistant in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) for one year from May 2001 and became a research fellow in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2002. He moved back to HKPU as a postdoctoral fellow in 2006 and has been worked in China Jiliang University as a full professor since 2008.
