Persisting from 1123 to 1808, the Ilbenstadt monastery was one of the first German Premonstratensian monasteries. Following the Germania Sacra template, this volume presents the monastery’s history of ownership as well as the lives of its provosts and abbots, mothers superior, prioresses, priors, female and male conventuals, and lay brothers and sisters.
