About this book

The variety of Kant interpretations around 1900 cannot be overlooked. Kant was seen by materialists, spiritists, monists, Lutheran theologists, socialists, and Neo-Kantian philosophy to be a standard philosopher. Significant institutions emerged against this backdrop: the Kant-Studien, the Kant Society, and the Akademie edition of Kant’s collected works. These contributions describe the diverse array of reception contexts and authors around 1900.
