About the authors
Dr. Jianrong Liu received his Ph.D. degree from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. Currently Dr. Liu is Professor of IMR CAS (Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences). Dr. Liu focuses on the researches of titanium and its alloys used in additive manufacturing and aerospace fields. Dr. Liu has 11 patents and published more than 60 technical papers.
Associate Professor Guang Yang received his M.S. degree from Department of Materials Science and Engineering, AVIC BAMTRI (Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Technology Research Institute) in 2012. Currently Guang Yang is Associate Professor of AVIC BAMTRI. Associate Professor Yang focuses on the researches of processing technology of Electron Beam Wire Deposition (EBWD). Associate Professor Yang has 13 patents and published more than 10 technical papers.Dr. Haiying Xu received his Ph.D. degree from school of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Beihang University in 2009. Currently Dr. Xu is Professorate Senior Engineer of AVIC BAMTRI (Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Research Technology Institute). Dr. Xu focuses on the researches of power beam sources (laser/electron/plasma) technology and equipment.
