About this book

Giambattista Vico is considered the founder of cultural scholarship, although he was a jurist and taught rhetoric. The author of this volume brings together legal provenance and Vico’s cultural-historical discoveries and uses the former to substantiate the latter. By returning to Vico’s theory, legal scholarship can also be understood as cultural scholarship.
