About this book

Corrosion Science and Engineering is now an integral part of research throughout the world. Researchers are actively looking for an alternative eco-friendly way of developing non-toxic corrosion inhibitors from natural sources. This book discusses all the recent advancements in the corrosion field with an emphasis on natural sources which is the demand of the era to replace the commercially available toxic corrosion inhibitors.

Various natural sources such as roots, stems, barks, leaves, flowers, gums, essential oils, bio polymers and biomass are covered.
Different corrosive media and factors which influence the inhibition efficiency of natural products are explored.

Mr. Abhinay Thakur

Research Scholar at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. Pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Ashish Kumar (Ex-Professor,Chemistry, LPU), currently Professor (Chemistry) and Head, Applied Science and Humanities, NCE, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar, India. His research work is related to Corrosion Inhibition, Material Chemistry, thermodynamics and interaction studies in liquid medium.
