Friedrich Stadler is a retired Professor for History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Vienna. 1991 Founder of the Institute Vienna Circle, which was established in 2001 as a Department at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education of the University of Vienna. He is past president of the European Philosophy of Science Association (EPSA) and the Austrian Ludwig Wittgenstein Society (ALWS).Friedrich Stadler is a retired Professor for History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Vienna. 1991 Founder of the Institute Vienna Circle, which was established in 2001 as a Department at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education of the University of Vienna.
