Weiblicher Exhibitionismus ist - da kulturell verankert - im Gegensatz zur strafrechtlich verfolgten männlichen Zeigelust gesellschaftlich integriert. Die Zurschaustellung des weiblichen Körpers kann Ausdruck erotischer Macht und damit eines selbstbestimmten Sexualsubjekts sein. So nutzen Marilyn Monroe und Madonna den befreienden Charakter erotischer Selbstdarstellung und künstlerischer Provokation für progressive Stellungnahmen. Mit soziologischen, medizinischen, psychologischen sowie juristischen Argumenten und unter Rückgriff auf ihre Erfahrungen als Tänzerin zeigt Ulrike Wohler die emanzipatorischen Ziele des weiblichen Exhibitionismus auf.

Ulrike Wohler (Dr. phil.), Soziologin, arbeitet als freiberufliche Dozentin, Trainerin und Beraterin sowie Tänzerin. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Tanz, Kultursoziologie, Soziologische Theorie und Queer Theory.
